According to statistics, there are over 2 million deaf children aged 0-14 in China, with a hearing impairment rate of approximately 2 per thousand among newborns. However, the high cost of current artificial intelligence cochlear devices keeps deaf children from low-income families out of the world of sound.

"Children are our future and hope; caring for their growth is our shared responsibility," said President Jiang at the ceremony, expressing gratitude to the foundation and the children's hospital for building this public welfare platform. "We will work with Nanjing Children's Hospital to take on the responsibility of helping deaf children, enabling them to hear hope from the silent world."
